Hanze Yawl - 5.7m Sailing Dinghy - Daysailer
The Hanze Yawl is a mix between a Newfoundland Trapskiff and a Swedish Blekinge Eka. The design has been developed in close cooperation with Bert van Baar from the wooden boatbuilding school 'Bootbouwschool' in Den Helder, the Netherlands. The first 2 boats have been build in a course at the Bootbouwschool and some by students of the HMC (Hout en Meubilerings College) in Amsterdam, which is a Furniture and Woodworking college.
